A consortium of Nordic C. elegans Researchers led by Prof. Thomas Burglin has been awarded a grant to establish an Infrastructure center for research in genetics and genomics using C. elegans with the explicit goal to purchase a Copas Worm Sorter. The grant was approved by the Swedish Research Council and the instrument will be located at the Karolinska Institutet. It is hoped that it will be operational sometime in 2010. A steering committee has been set up to assign priority for instrument use which is expected to be very active.  Congratulations!
